It’s been two years since our annual picnic, as the Olympics occupied ‘our’ hill in Greenwich last year. But we can add another good one to our diaries. The weather was lovely and so were the people, both as usual. It was the first official Galaxy Zoo meet-up I took the boyfriend to and he’s definitely part of the family now. There were the promised glasses of champagne – with strawberries. We looked at the Sun as proper amateur astronomers. And we ended up in ‘our’ pub, the Union, ‘till later that evening. Steven and I stayed at Annie’s this last week and I still wanted to show a few pictures of the fun we had. Here’s a couple of the RAS picnic, mostly taken by Steven. The last two pictures were taken by Mark and Todd.
