In England (part VI)

So while I was in England (for the sixth time this year already) to go to the ‘APOTY’ awards, I figured that as with everything in life, I should make most of it. Steven and I have only been going out together for three months, but this would be the second time he’d travel to England because I was there. Last time we went to the Natural History Museum, but since we didn’t see everything yet, we decided to go back (and take the lovely Geoff of ‘Bed & Breakfast Roynon’ with us).

We also had another proper Galaxy Zoo Meet-up, even though we didn’t do anything ‘astronomy’ that day and we just went out for dinner. Incidentally, at the best restaurant of the year or something – and rightly so. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures for those friends reading along. Which reminds me: thanks for the occasional reminders lately that you’re still out there scrolling through my diary pages and enjoying these updates. I love my life and I love having you in it!

From left to right: Nigel, Annie, Todd, Rona, Els, Edd, Hanny and Julianne.

Having fun at the museum. Us Galaxy Hunters see spirals in everything.

Geoff captured the moment my hair was an extension of this plesiosaurus’s leg.

The whole and beautiful fossil, captured by me.

Steven and Geoff looking at the Earth’s treasures.

Look how big this bird of prey is! Picture taken by Steven.

Steven (quite proud) watching the video of my performance…

We’re literally in the clouds together!

Steven and I on our way back. (And yes, I will get back on that performance thing..!)

Well in that case it would be the *stairway* dad! ;) (I took it at one of the museums; it’s another spiral!)
