The Weller Shoots

This is another ‘just-letting-you-my-lovely-readers-know-what-I-have-been-up-to-blog’. And I did another shoot. Or two actually.

Weller, the company I rent my flat from, brings out their own magazine three times a year and via-via someone there found out about my story and wanted to cover it. I did the interview the very first day of my holiday actually, at Brasserie Bracke. The theme of this month’s issue is going to be ‘travelling’, so we spoke a bit about the places I’ve seen since discovering Hanny’s Voorwerp.

The first shoot took place at my work actually – the last day of the school year – and I ended up sitting on the ground in the middle of the parking lot. Much to the amusement of many of my students, who had only come to school to collect their reports. And much to the inconvenience of my colleagues trying to get out.

Anyway, the photographer also wanted to do a shoot with a dark sky, so we also ended up in a field somewhere in Klimmen, at night. I brought a friend/bodyguard/assistant for the photographer and the three of us decided it was a lovely evening, even though there weren’t a lot of stars visible.

I already got the pictures from the photographer, but will publish them after the magazine comes out in September. So with this post you can see the photographer setting things up and the view this Moon girl sees in the pictures. It’ll be funny to find out if neighbours will recognise me after this issue, now the news comes so close.
