You’ve got to see this.

One of the nice things of having a blog is that it’s easy to tell all your friends at once: ‘you’ve got to see this!’…

Which is sort of what Edd said to me recently when he e-mailed me a link to a music video. It’s from a guy called Tim Minchin, a comedian/actor/musician/genius from Australia. He’s apparently well-known in the UK, but I had never heard of him. Anyway, Edd thought I’d like the song – probably because of the environmental friendly theme – and I do. It’s brilliant! I listened to more of his stuff and this guy is really funny, talented and I like his style. See for yourself:

While I’m at it, I thought I’d also recommend some funny websites I frequently visit. The next three all contain funny pictures: of cats and other animals, of dogs and other animals and of stupid stuff our own species does. The cats one, called ‘I-can-has-cheezburger’, and the dogs variant ‘I-has-a-hotdog’, show pictures of animals with funny (and misspelled) captions, or ‘capshuns’. It’s interactive: you can upload your picture too and I know a few of my friends already have these sites bookmarked. The homo sapiens version is called ‘failblog’ by the way, showing situations in which fellow human beings, well, fail…

C’est la vie.
